National Football League side Mukura is set to sign Congolese strikers Amani Mukeshe Mugisha and Hakim Isaki, who have been on trial for the past one month. According to the club secretary general Emmanuel Ntakirutimana, the pair could put pen to paper in the coming days after agreeing personal terms. Mugisha is from Kivu FC and Hakim Isaki from Bukavu Dawa “We are still in talks with both players to see if they can fit in the team and if the coach says he wants them we will sign them,” Ntakirutimana said on Friday. However, the club failed to agree terms with Ugandan striker Samson Jakesh, who played for Rayon Sports last season. Mukura coach Jean Baptiste Kayiranga, who joined the Huye-based side in close season from Gicumbi FC, is on the look-out for new signings ahead of the new season next month. Kayiranga said: “They are in training with others, but they have impressed us and surely have the quality to play at high level but we haven’t confirmed because we need to see them in warm-up games first.” As part of their pre-season preparations, Mukura are planning to play warm-up matches against AS Kigali, SC Kiyovu and Rayon Sports.
