Saturday All-Star Game Team Nshobozwa 99-89 Team Turatsinze Team Nshobozwa on Saturday night won the FERWABA All Star Game after beating Team Turatsinze 99-89 in an entertaining game held at BK Arena. This season's All-Star Game brought together two teams of basketball players who were outstanding through the 2023 season. The two teams were headlined by APR point guard Jean-Jacques Wilson Nshobozwabyosenumukiza and Espoir point guard Olivier Turatsinze as captains. Kamndoh Frank scored a game high 33 points to inspire Team Nshobozwa to the victory while Rolly Fula Nganga’s masterclass on Saturday night earned him the Most Valuable Player (MVP) prize for the 2023 All-Star Game. The Congolese, who plies his trade at champions APR, was awarded a Rwf500,000 cash prize as a result. Elsewhere, REG Women’s Rosine Micomyiza and Kigali Titans’ Thierry Munyeshuri pocketed Rwf500,000 each after coming out on top in the three-points challenge while Espoir’s Dondon Elisée walked away with the same amount as the best in Slum Dunk challenge. Meanwhile, Rwanda international Kami Kabange, has announced his retirement from professional basketball aged 39. He was playing for 2023 league runners-up Rwanda Energy Group (REG).
