Editor, THE GOVERNMENT of Rwanda has lots of priorities and this is the reason why I think that Rwanda Development Board (RDB) should not be asked to put up facilities such as internet infrastructure. For me, this should be done by the private sector. What RDB should be doing is to create a conducive environment and to facilitate the ease of doing business, while Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (Rura) and the City of Kigali give a hand. If this is done efficiently, the entire Economic Zone will be connected to fibre and the tenants will be enjoying good broadband connectivity in less than two months.
