…look for any excuse to post lousy photos on social media. I think there is a special clan of idle people who will not miss a chance to broadcast their redundancy using the same. These attention seekers started with the ‘selfie’ trend which is simply proof that someone is so lonely they have to take a photo of themselves by themselves. As if that is not enough they are now taking what they have called ‘groundies’ which basically refers to taking a photo while you lie on the ground. Please, social media does not have to be reduced to a boring photo album. …expect miracles to come from just typing ‘Amen’ on Facebook. No matter how many times I complain about the stupid things that people do on social media, someone will always find a way of rebranding this stupidity and propagating it further. Just when I thought we were done with the photoshopped pictures of sick people asking us to type Amen for them to automatically heal. We now have pictures of cars and piles of money being posted by some people. The joke is that you type Amen in the comments and then wake up to a miracle of the money or the car. The world just has so many idle people. …try to look busy in a rather annoying way. There are those moments when you are in a restaurant. And instead of being attended to the waiter decides that a thousand trips will be made before you are fully attended to. So instead of bringing everything you need on a tray she/he will bring one thing at a time. In the meantime your meal or drink is getting cold. Who employs such people who think they can use the restaurant to cut weight by walking round and round instead of serving clients efficiently? …cannot do what should really be so simple. Dear loyal readers, I’m sorry but I had to raise this issue too regardless of how dirty it may make the column appear. If you tend to find yourself in a situation where you have to use a public toilet you must be as disgusted as I am with people who always do their business on the toilet instead of in the toilet. Where is it written that your aiming skills are not needed when it is a public toilet? If you cannot use a public facility very well and leave it clean please stay at home.
