A delegation of 22 faculty members and course participants from the National Institute for Security Studies (NISS) Abuja-Nigeria, visited Rwanda Defence Force Headquarters on Tuesday, September 19. The delegation, led by Deputy Commandant and Director of Studies, Egbeji Didacus Bonny Egor, is in Rwanda for a study tour from September 17-24. The course participants are drawn from different agencies in Nigeria and other African countries including Tchad, Niger, Gambia, and Rwanda. At RDF Headquarters, they were received by RDF Spokesperson, Brig Gen Ronald Rwivanga on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff. Faculty members and participants of Executive Intelligence Management Course from the National Institute for Security Studies, Abuja Nigeria- visit Rwanda Defence Force HQs. https://t.co/uUVwIk29Th pic.twitter.com/80sUklZHOc — Rwanda Defence Force (@RwandaMoD) September 19, 2023 Rwivanga briefed them on the theme of the course: “Globalization and Regional Economic Integration: Implications for Sustainable Development in Africa.” Speaking to the media after the briefing, Egbeji emphasised that the participants came to interact and share knowledge and experience on Economic Integration and its implications on sustainable development in Africa. “We need to find out what Rwanda is doing differently that we can learn and what Rwanda can learn from Nigeria,” he said. The delegation also visited Rwanda National Police and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning.
