Niyo Bosco, one of Rwanda's best musicians and lyricists, has signed a deal with a new record label, Metro Afro. This comes after the 'Seka' hitmaker parted ways with Sunday Entertainment and MIE, which he accused of fraudulently exploiting his talent by stealing revenues generated from his projects. Niyo joins the likes of Confy, Okkama, Boukuri, Louder and many other great Rwandan musicians at the MetroAfro record label. The journey has begun for Niyo Bosco and MetroAfro. We are very honoured to have them join our family. Thank you to our team and friends of MetroAfro who came to celebrate our partnership. Nothing but hits, reads a statement from the record label. For Niyo Bosco, joining MetroAfro is a big step as the label is home to most of the promising young talents in the country. Niyo said he is looking forward to growing and learning new things at MetroAfro, which exists to shape culture through the power of African metropolitan artistry. MetroAfro Ltd (Rwanda), often referred to as simply MetroAfro, is a Rwandan-American multinational entertainment company based in the United States that owns and operates a wide range of businesses engaged in recorded music, music publishing, merchandising and audiovisual content starting in Rwanda, the United States and the rest of the world. Niyo remains one of the best singers and lyricists in the history of the Rwandan music industry. He rose to fame after the release of his first track 'Ubigenza Ute' which got him signed under MIE until he parted ways with the music house on 28th October 2022.
