FORMER Espoir FC head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha has joined league rivals Gicumbi FC after signing a one-year contract. Ruremesha, formerly with Mukura, Kibuye and La Jeunesse has replaced Jean Baptiste Kayiranga, who helped the club finish 9th last season but has since crossed to Mukura Victory Sports. The Gicumbi FC Secretary General Antoine Dukuzimana confirmed the development yesterday. “We have appointed Ruremesha as our new head coach. He is mandated to help Gicumbi FC finish in top six in the league and at least a quarter-final place finish in the Peace Cup competition next season,” he said. Ruremesha has been instrumental for the Rusizi-based club after helping them finish sixth last season before guiding them to the quarter final in the Peace Cup.
