Ugandan star comedian Anne Kubiryaba Kansiime will yet again grace the next edition of Seka Live comedy series alongside comedians Patrick Rusine, Herve Kimenyi and Don Andre. The show is slated for September 24, at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (former Camp Kigali). As the comedy show continues to bring some of the top comedians in the region to Kigali, comedy fans are in for a memorable evening of laughter packed with humour. The show has long been known for bringing together some of the best comedy talents from across Africa, and this month is no exception. During last month's edition, Arthur Nkusi, the brains behind 'Seka Live,' told the show's fans that he would bring back Ugandan comedian Kansiime for the next stage. Fans, he promised, will be treated to a fun-filled event with a superb roster. He went on to say that fans should expect to laugh as hard as they did last month, adding that good content is why they focus in bringing good comedians on stage. “There's going to be laughing, loving and a bit more” Kansiime posted on her Instagram handle. The 36-year-old “African queen of comedy” last performed at Seka Live to a full house last year and the show was a success. She first participated in Seka Live in August 26, 2017 during the third edition of the comedy show at Kigali Serena Hotel. The Seka Live comedy series which was initiated in March, 2017, saw performances from local and regional comedians like Teacher Mpamire, Herbert Mendo Ssegujja, Burundian Kigingi, Patrick Salvador, Loyiso Gola, Eric Omondi, Hillary Okello and Daniel Omara among many others in its previous editions. Tickets for the event come in different tiers with regular tickets priced at RWF 10,000, VIP tickets available for 20,000 RWF. Gates will open at 6 pm. Organised by Arthur Nation, the annual comedy event has successfully established a big name in the comedy scene.
