Need for more incentives for youth entrepreneurship to flourish

Looking at the youth today and the number of those still in school and those yet to graduate and those who graduate every year, it is pretty clear that the number of graduates surpasses the available jobs. The government therefore has embarked on sensitising them on self employment through creating their own jobs and to be their own bosses. This sounds good though very challenging today as the capacity to start your own job has never been as easy as it sounds. Those who defy the odds to start something on their own find their business crumbling due to lack of support and at times it is almost impossible to get loans from financial institutions mainly because of lack of collateral. So you find a number of youth having the ideas but they only remain on paper, or those that are brave enough struggle to sustain their projects because of the issue of capital. Loans should b provided to the youth with simple terms and also continuous inculcation of entrepreneurial skills, especially among the youth, should be sustained. This will create a friendly atmosphere for the youth to create their own jobs and at the same time get to employ others. P.
