National football league side, Mukura have confirmed the signing of Jean Baptiste Kayiranga as their new coach from rivals Gicumbi FC. The signing was confirmed on Monday by the club’s Secretary General Emmanuel Ntakirutimana. “We are glad to announce the signing of Kayiranga as our new coach for next season,” Ntakirutimana said. Former Rayon Sports and SC Kiyovu coach, Kayiranga, joins Mukura on a one-year contract with an option to extend it by another year at end of next season, depending on the team’s league position. “ I am officially Mukura’s head coach. I signed a one-year contract with a possibility of renewal at the end of the season,” the 45-year-old Kayiranga told Times Sport by phone. Both Ntakirutimana and Kayiranga declined to reveal how much the coach will earn per month. Former Amavubi Stars assistant coach, Kayiranga helped Gicumbi FC to finish in ninth position with 25 points in the just concluded league campaign.
