SHE-AMAVUBI entered residential camp at Alpha Palace hotel yesterday ahead of the second leg of the 2014 Africa Women Championship qualifiers against Nigeria. Head coach Grace Nyinawumuntu summoned a squad of 24 players from which she will pick the final 18-player squad that will travel to Nigeria. The return-leg match is scheduled for the weekend of June 6-8 in Lagos. Rwanda lost 4-1 to eight-time African champions in the first-leg clash held at Umuganda stadium in Rubavu district on May 24. “To be honest, we have no chance of making it to the Africa Women Championship finals in Namibia, because Nigeria took everything from us,” Nyinawumuntu said yesterday.
