Wednesday Women Game 4: APR Vs REG, 7pm APR women basketball club head coach Charles Mbazumutima has called on his players to stay focused when they resume battle of the national league championship with Rwanda Energy Group (REG) on Wednesday. The army side so far leads the finals series 2-1 after coming from 86-87 Game 1 loss to winning Game 2 (60-59) and Game 3 (84-81). The teams return to action on Wednesday evening, September 13, for Game 4 which takes place at the BK Arena at 6pm. ALSO READ: Women Basketball: APR ready to topple REG in playoffs finals Prior to the game, Mbazumutima hailed his players for the ‘amazing job’ they have done so far but he cautioned them to remain very focused in the next games. “We need to keep the momentum by consistently winning game after game because we have what it takes,” he told Times Sport. “REG are a strong team, tactically and physically. We can’t underestimate them. We can’t afford any form of complacency because it would be a terrible mistake.” The winner of this season will represent Rwanda at the Africa Zone Five Club 2023 Championship scheduled between October and November in Kigali.
