Fixtures June 3Rwanda vs Burundi June 5DRC vs Burundi June 7Rwanda vs DRC The Confederation of African Rugby (CAR) has confirmed Rwanda as hosts of this year’s Division 2 15s tournament which is set to run from June 3-7 in Kigali. The tournament, which was initially supposed to take place in Bujumbura, Burundi, will attract three countries namely; the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi and hosts Rwanda. This competition started in 2004 in Arusha, Tanzania with the sole reason of promoting rugby in the region. The national team coach-player, Jean Baptiste Itanzi has selected a final squad of 22 players from the provisional squad of 32 players. The final squad: Abdul Ngango, Jean Baptiste Itanzi, Jean Leonard Twizeyimana, Julien Nshimiyimana, Gerald Niyeneza, Olivier Nikwigize, Raratabu Josateki, Jean De Dieu Hakizimana, Benjamin Makombe, Issa Gatera, Victorien Umuhire, Didier Kamanzi. Others are; Moise Habumugisha, Lucien Bikamba, Aime Ndahirwa, Filipe Mana, Marcel Cambara Koko, Jean Paul Hajara, Vincent Kamali, Sixbert Majyambere, Emmanuel Nduwayezu and Olivier Uwamahoro.
