Sunday Boys Rubavu 5-2 Burera Rusizi 0-1 Ruhango Muhanga 1-4 Nyarugenge Rwamagana 2-0 Kayonza Girls Rubavu 2-1 Burera Kicukiro 2-1 Karongi Kayonza 0-3 Gatsibo Saturday Huye 2-0 Gisagara RUBAVU DISTRICT boys’ and girls’ teams have both stormed the semi-finals of the Bralirwa-sponsored Copa Coca Cola youth football competition after brushing aside Burera in both categories on Sunday. In the boys’ category, defending champions Rubavu hammered fellow Northern Province representatives Burera 5-2, while the girls won their contest 2-1. The Copa Coca Cola competition was inaugurated in Mexico in 1998 and was introduced in Rwanda in 2009. It’s sponsored by Bralirwa in partnership with Rwanda School Sports Federation (RSSF), who are in charge of the organisation. The semi-final clashes and finals in both categories are scheduled for this weekend. The draws for last four will be made on Friday.
