Ambassadors of Christ, a renowned Seventh-Day Adventist choir in Rwanda, is preparing for a gospel fundraising concert dubbed ‘Umubyeyi Remera Fundraising Concert’ scheduled for Sunday, September 17 at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village (KCEV). According to Reuben Muvunyi, the chairman of Ambassadors of Christ Choir, the concert is to raise funds for the construction of the choir's mother church, Remera SDA Church. The concert has been designed to inspire and uplift the hearts of God's people in songs of praise and celebration of faith as they gladly demonstrate their gift of generosity towards God's work, Muvunyi told The New Times. The choir chairperson further noted that the concert is expected to be an unforgettable event filled with soul-stirring melodies, great performances and a shared sense of purpose. As we come together in harmonious unity, we aim to raise funds that will directly contribute to the construction of Remera SDA church, and the show will be an opportunity for us to not only enjoy the beauty of gospel music, but also to come together again in support of this noble cause. Let us joyfully join hands and hearts together as we build this magnificent house of God in the heart of Kigali City, and in doing so, build a godly city and a happy nation! Muvunyi added. About the choir Ambassadors of Christ Choir (AOCC) is a Rwandan gospel ministry which has served in gospel outreach missions since 1995 both in Rwanda and beyond, reaching millions of people all over the world with the word of God through singing and the spoken word. The choir was conceived in the aftermath of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. The ministry was founded to respond to the social and spiritual needs of the people of Rwanda at such a time of need.
