FORMER Amavubi midfielder Jimmy Mulisa has joined Malaysian Premier League club Kuala Terengganu on a two-year contract. Mulisa, who has been playing for Belgian second division outfit AFC Tubize, was promised an extra year should he impress at the club which last won the Malaysian Premier league title in 2008. The former APR striker scored on his debut when Kuala Terengganu met Pelak in their previous match last month. Mulisa, who is no longer featuring for the Amavubi team, made 37 appearances for the national team scoring 21 goals. His last call up came way back during the 2010 Fifa World Cup qualifiers where Rwanda finished bottom of their group. The 29-year-old striker has previously played for different clubs including; Raec Mons, KRC Mechellen, RFC Tournai, KFC Hamme, SV Roeselare, KSK Beveren and AFC Tubize all in Belgium, Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt in Romania, Shakter Karaganda and FC Vostok in Kazakhstan.
