Editor, Refer to the story, “RwandaOnline to cut red tape” (The New Times, May 6). This is a good move for our country; yet it is just the beginning, e-Governance has started making real sense. I think the banking sector needs to step up debit/credit cards to spice up the process because if you have to pay for services online, you usually need the stuff. In addition, it reduces the costs incurred by the government replacing old or torn bills that we keep in wallets. John, Rwanda ******************************** The beauty of it all is that the firm picked to roll out this is a local one. I just love it. This is the way we should be going. We are taking time to realise that we always tend to underrate our capacity and end up leaving our skilled youth begging and paying handsomely some foreigners to come and do what we can do ourselves, and sometimes do it better than so-called experts.
