Editor, THIS IS with reference to your article titled “YouthConnekt drive now targets 100,000 youth” (The New Times, May 2). I would like to say kudos to the Ministry of Youth and ICT (MYICT) for this great initiative. It is a fact, that todays youth are tomorrows leaders. Hence, it is appropriate and encouraging to note that MYICT is dedicating the whole month of May towards cultivating patriotism and self-dignity values among young people. Rwanda Calling 2014, which is scheduled to take place in Kigali from May 25-28, 2014, will also contribute towards this cause. During the International Business Forum on Monday, May 26, at the Kigali Serena Hotel, a few Genocide survivors, whose sad yet true stories were reported so well by your esteemed newspaper, will be appreciated and rewarded for their acts of great courage and fortitude.
