When the prey becomes the hunter

So yes, I am single. I won’t deny it like most of my friends do but it’s not because I am a loser or that I’m not handsome ( I believe I am). It’s just that the boys on campus are slowly but surely missing out on chicks. Campus ladies now want a ‘serious’ man yet as funny as Kevin Hart, with Thor’s abs and biceps and a bank account that would put Jay Z’s to shame! He must have a sweet ride and if he is employed, he should be at the top of the ladder, but even better are the men who are their own boss. With all this, what chance does a campus lad have really? But, word has it there are a few that are more ‘open-minded’ - they don’t go as far as having such a grand check-list. They have been heard debating who is ‘dateable’ or not amongst themselves with questions like, “Would you date that guy at the front desk?” and getting answers like, “Hell no, that guy’s life is all about circuits and transistors, I can’t date a geek.” But then ask her if she can date the one who doesn’t take life so seriously and she will tell you something like, “No way. That guy doesn’t look like he has a future. I can’t date someone who isn’t serious in class.” With their relationship life at stake, campus boys have now resorted to chasing girls in their S6 vacation or even still in high school but to their dismay, these young chicks come with warnings from their parents about how dangerous campus boys are. Naturally, they run for their lives! I was just about to pack up my bags move to a more ‘man-friendly’ country when I heard my sister in her room praying. This is what she said, “Father, I was a fool seven years ago. Please father, help me get a man. I am now desperate. I will settle for anyone.” I am now relaxed because I know one time, some chick who pushed me away years before will be the one chasing me.
