Barring an upset, AS Kigali are expected to overcome second division side Rwamagana FC in their rescheduled 1/16 round fixture. Their meeting was postponed due to AS Kigali’s engagement in the Caf Confederation Cup. The other big clash will be between Sam Ssimbwa’s Police FC and Cedric Kaze’s Mukura. Both sides have a chance to study each other when they meet this weekend. Police routed Bugesera 5-0, while Mukura defeated Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle 3-0 in the 1/16th round. Elsewhere, seven-time winners APR have been drawn against league strugglers AS Muhanga, while SC Kiyovu will face Esperance. Another all-top flight division league clash will be between Gicumbi against Espoir, who beat second division outfit Pepiniere 4-0 on Thursday. Second division sides SEC academy face Aspor and Etoile de l’est will meet Amagaju. The winner in the final will represent the country in the 2015 Caf Confederation Cup. The final will be played on July 4. Last year, AS Kigali beat AS Muhanga 3-0 to lift the Cup.
