Thirty health practitioners from Rwanda and the US are attending a five-day course meant to help them fight disease. The course, taking place at the Centre for Operational Training and Research at Rwinkwavu Hospital in Kayonza District, was organised by the Ministry of Health in partnership with Partners In Health and Harvard Medical School. Opening the training, Dr. Agnes Binagwaho, the Minister for Health, emphasised the need to sustain the gains registered in the fight against killer diseases such as AIDS and malaria. The minister urged health practitioners to design more strategies to improve the health sector.
