RWANDA’S NATIONAL football league is ranked 125th in the world, according to the latest rankings released recently. Rwanda obtained 10,800 points for the year 2013. The world ranking for the Strongest National Leagues has been determined annually by the IFFHS since 1991 on the basis of all national (championship, Cup) and (inter)continental (confederations & FIFA club competitions) results of the clubs. The Spanish Primera División retains the first place for the fourth time in a row thanks to the extraordinary performance of their three best clubs, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and FC Barcelona. The English Premier League is second, while the Germany Bundesliga is ranked third despite Bayern Munich winning the Uefa Champions League after beating rivals Borussia Dortmund in the final. The Sudanese league tops the Cecafa region, ranked 91st; Ethiopia is placed 107th; Kenya is at 114th, four places ahead of Burundi at 118th with Uganda coming at 122nd.
