Gospel music star Fortran Bigirimana is set to perform in various cities of Canada as part of the ‘Ntaco Nzoba Kuko Birakunvira’ tour, his first in the country, scheduled for 15-16 September. The Ntaco Nzoba hitmaker will be joined by Canada-based gospel musicians Gentil and Adrien Misigaro, Clark Kuze and Willy Uwizeye, all of whom are big names in both Rwanda and Burundi. Also read: International artistes to headline ‘Fragrance of Worship’ concert Speaking to The New Times, Bigirimana said the ‘Ntaco- Nzoba Kuko Birakunvira’ tour will kick off in Ottawa on September 15, at the Bethel Pentecostal Church and continue to Montreal on September 16, at the Resurrection Centre before heading to Portland-Maine, USA. Bigirimana said the main reason for his first Canadian tour is to connect with the country's gospel music fans, who have shown signs of supporting Rwandan and Burundian gospel music for a long time. Also read: Singer Bigirimana in Kigali for gospel concert We have been receiving invitations from our fan base in Canada for a long time and I think it's the right time to consider them and perform in the country that has many fans of our gospel music, Bigiriamana said, adding that every gospel music fan in the country should not miss this opportunity. The gospel star further noted that he has been working with the likes of Gentil and Adrien for a long time, which is one of the reasons he considered them in the line-up for the concerts. Adrien and Gentil are one of the few people I've worked with for a long time and it's always nice to share the stage with them. We are all looking forward to this once-in-a-lifetime experience. For 'Diego' Dieudonné Dushimimana, head of Reimage Canada INC, the event management company behind the tour, everything is in place for Bigirimana and the other artistes on the bill to have a successful tour. According to Dushimimana, tickets for the concert are already available on EventBrite at $35 regular and $60 VIP. Bigirimana has performed in different countries such as DR Congo, Uganda, Kenya, Senegal, France, and many more. He is known for hit songs such as 'Nimumfashe Dushime’, ‘Ni Amahoro’, ‘Ntaco Nzoba’, and ‘Je suis en paix’, among many others.
