Afrobeat singer, Mani Martin and Senegalese Hip-hop star Baay Bia have released their first collabo.Mama Africa was produced by local music producer Nicola and it is enjoying massive airplay on radio stations across the country.Speaking to The New Times, the Urukumbuzi star said he has realised the strength of working with other musicians.“This year, I want my fans to get the best of my music. I will try as much as possible to work with different artistes within and outside the country,” he said.Martin also said that he plans to work with Ugandan artiste Maurice Kirya. “Through making collabos, I believe musicians get the opportunity for their music to go beyond boarders; the reason I am considering working with various musicians,” he said.Baay Bia is regarded one of the most original of the West African hip hop singers based on his style and his flow which is said to be unique. The musician won the Senegal Hip Hop Awards 2002 (Best Sales).
