LEAGUE LEADERS APR has dominated the Under-20 national team announced by head coach Richard Tardy to start preparations for the 2015 Africa Youth Championship qualifiers which start in March. The army side has eight players on the 24-man squad selected last week. They include; goalie Olivier Kwizera, Maxime Sekamana , Eric Rutanga, Suleiman Kakira, Yannick Mukunzi, Nova Bayama, Jules Niyigena and Patrick Sibomana. According to Tardy, the team joins camp this weekend at Hill Top Hotel and will face league side Police FC next Tuesday in a build-up match. Last year, Rwanda failed to go past the first round, losing 4-2 to Mali. The 2015 Africa U-20 Championships will take place in Senegal where the four semi-finalists will represent Africa at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
