Teachers to acquire business skills

Over 2,000 public school teachers have started training in entrepreneurship and financial management. The four-day training aims at equipping teachers with business skills like how to start and manage an enterprise, as well as preparing business plans to enable them set up and run income-generating projects profitably, Joseph Museruka, the managing director of Umwalimu SACCO, a savings and credit co-operative for teachers, said.
