APR Basketball Club assistant coach, Cliff Owuor, has urged his players to maintain consistency if they are to overcome Patriots in the semifinals playoffs. The military side lead the series after beating Patriots 69-59 at BK Arena on Wednesday night, August 23, to take home Game 1 in style and Owuor wants his men to keep their game up to perform well in the next games. It's a playoff game and I know they're going to make adjustments,” Owuor told Times Sport. Game controlling and 'playing as a team' are two key aspects that helped APR win Game 1 and Owuor rallied the team to replicate that and do even more in the next games. He said the team will, “look into how we played the game tonight,” before adding, “we are going to make certain adjustments too in the areas where they were hurting us. But we need to stay focused. The champions will represent Rwanda at the 2024 Basketball Africa League (BAL).
