The festive season is here and so are a number of events to attend. It is worth noting that all ages are catered for this time round. Here are a few choices to pick from. Children and family parties Bambino Super City along Kabuga road is hosting a children’s party on December 22. The children will be entertained by Junior aka His Excellency, Benzo, Arthur, among others. The event will start at 10am and entrance is Rwf10,000 per child. At La Palisse Nyandugu, Alpha Rwiragira will be hosting “Family Party” on December 25. Also present will be musicians Jay Polly, Ciney, Eric Mucyo and others. Entrance is Rwf3,000 for children and Rwf5,000 for adults. The Hang-out Terra Vista Hall in Gikondo will host celebrities and their fans for the annual “Hang-out” organised by Inyarwanda.com. They include, but not limited to, Urban Boyz, Riderman, Kagere Meddy, Jay Polly, King James, Tom Close, Kanyombya, KFM’s Isheja Sandrine, Ginty and many others. Entrance fee is Rwf3,000 if booked in advance and Rwf4,000 at the door. Starting time is 6pm. Cinema Century Cinema located at Kigali City Tower will throughout the festive season screen various movies. Movies include, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smug , Thor 2: The Dark World, Black Nativity, Captain Phillips, The Counselor, Bullet Raja, Frozen, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty which premier on December 27. Entrance fee varies between Rwf3,500 and Rwf5,000 for screenings in 2D, 3D and 5D and on weekdays and weekend. There’s a special discount for children and students. From Monday to Thursday 2D movies are Rwf2,500 and 3D movies are Rwf3,500. Concert The Primus Guma Guma winner 2013 Riderman will be launching his fifth album “Igikona” at Amahoro Stadium this Friday. His fifth album has hit songs such as Abanyabirori, Urusaku rw’Amasasu, Igikona and many more. The concert that will start at 4pm and will have other artistes performing; King James, Fireman, Ama G The Black, Kamichi, Paccy, M Izzo, Jay Polly and others. Entrance fee is Rwf5,000 for VIP seats and Rwf2,000 for ordinary. Comedy Night Abadotcom will be live in comedy on December 22 at One Love. The show is scheduled to start at 6pm with entrance fee of Rwf2,000.
