Group AIsonga FC 6-0 Gasabo FCVision J.N. 1-1 Sorwathe Vision FC 1-2 RwamaganaSunrise 2-0 Akagera Intare 0-0 Kirehe Group BSec Academy 5-0 PepiniereEtoile de l’Est 1-0 AsporUnited Stars 2-1 NURInterforce 1-1 UnityISONGA FOOTBALL CLUB started with comfortable 6-0 win over Gasabo FC in their debut season in the second division league at Ferwafa ground in Remera on Saturday.Isonga, who were relegated from the top flight division after two seasons, made a blistering start with striker Bertrand Iradukunda and play maker Cedric Samba getting on the score sheet in the first half.Yves Rwasamanzi’s team continued the second half from where they left off in the first as they scored four more goals through striker Saleh Ndayisenga, midfielders Kevin Ishimwe and Savior Nshuti and the route was completed by central defender Thierry Manzi.Isonga FC was founded almost three years ago as a composition of players, who played in the 2011 U-17 African Youth Championship held in Rwanda and the Fifa World Cup in Mexico.The youthful side was promoted to the U-20 level and registered to play in the national league without going through the second division at that time under the current Amavubi Stars coach Eric Nshimiyimana.They managed to finish in sixth position in their debut season before suffering relegation last season.In the same group, Vision J.N. drew with Sorwathe Fc 1-1 at Tam Tam turf, Vision Fc lost 1-2 against Rwamagana at Mumena Stadium, Sunrise beat Akagera Fc 2-0 in Rwamagana, while the match between Huye-based Intare against Kirehe ended goalless at Kamena stadium.In group B, youthful side Sec Academy thrashed Pepiniere 5-0 at Kicukiro ground, Etoile De L’Est beat Aspor 1-0 in Ngoma, and United Stars overcame 2-1 National University of Rwanda, while Interforce drew 1-1 against Unity.
