The highly anticipated new single from Léandre R. Ruremire is finally out. Titled, Umuntu Ni nk’Undi, the traditional song is complete with an audio and a video calls for unity among Rwandans. “The key message in this song is telling people to appreciate one another regardless of their background, tribe or status in society,” the singer, better known to his fans as Mr. Focus, said. The video was shot from Inema Arts Centre and it features traditional dances and drama skits. Ruremire is a talented singer, songwriter and performer. He kicked off his singing career in 2011 with the recording of Bihogo - his first song. That was a stint that earned him a remarkable deal of recognition from cultural music lovers. A year later, with a new stage name, and a passion for making music, Ruremire got back into the studio to hone his craft. Some of the tracks include Urakowe, Igendere and Umwiza, among others. He has continued to grow as a singer and songwriter. Ruremire is currently working on his second album.
