Dusabemungu 2/13ICC 76 all out in 13.2 overs lost to KHCC 80/9 in 15 overs by 1 wicketKerala Hunters beat Indorwa by 1 wicket in the semi-final to secure their appearance in the final of the Zaaffran & Blueberry Hotel T20 cricket tournament at the Kicukuro oval on Sunday.Indorwa, who lost the toss and were put in to bat first, were all out for a paltry 76 runs in 13.2 overs.The wet wicket that seemed to favour bowlers saw Suveesh Kottemmal and P.G Sruthin getting three wickets apiece.On paper, chasing 77 runs from 20 overs seemed an easy task for Kerala Hunters, who have never played in any final, but they were made to sweat for the win which they achieved with only one wicket to spare.Indorwa bowlers Mihir Bhatt and Eric Dusingizimungu were in top form picking three and two wickets, respectively.Sibin was the only Kerala Hunters’ batsman who managed a double figure with 27 runs. “Because of the rain it was a very hard wicket to bat on that is why our batsmen struggled,” said Bhatt, who top scored for Indorwa CC with 28 runs.The second semi-final between Right Guards and Challengers was washed out after the ground was not fit for play due to heavy downpour. It was pushed to this coming Saturday.
