The Rwanda Stock Exchange was quiet yesterday, with no shares traded compared to the previous Monday, where Rwf12.5m was realised from 64,400 Bank of Kigali shares.On Friday 1,700 Bank of Kigali and 746,000 Bralirwa shares worth Rwf617.3m exchanged hands. The Rwanda Stock Exchange Share Index was up by 9.19 points, to close at 228.69 points on Friday compared to 219.5 points last Monday. Bralirwa’s shares price remained unchanged, closing at Rwf827, while the Bank of Kigali counter went up by Rwf35 during the week to close at Rwf235 on Friday compared to last Monday close of Rwf200.Kenya Commercial Bank shares last transacted at Rwf175, while Nation Media Group and Uchumi Supermarket shares last transacted at Rwf1,200 and Rwf175, respectively.At the end of formal trading yesterday, there were outstanding offers of 198,400 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf230 and Rwf250 and no outstanding bids.On Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 150,300 shares at between Rwf827 and Rwf890 and outstanding bids for 1,000 shares at Rwf815.On Kenya Commercial Bank counter, there were outstanding bids for 12,400 shares at between Rwf175 and Rwf180, but there were no offers. There was an outstanding bid for 1,000 shares on the Nation Media Group counter at Rwf1,200 and no offers.
