The draw was held in Nairobi, Kenya.Following a draw held in Nairobi, Kenya on Friday, Amavubi are in Group C. Group A has hosts Kenya, Ethiopia, Zanzibar and South Sudan, while Group B consists of Tanzania, Zambia, Burundi and Somalia.The opening match of the tournament will be between Kenya and Ethiopia on November 27. Rwanda will face off with Uganda in friendly game today before meeting again in Cecafa.This will be the first time Kenya is hosting the competition since 2009 with Uganda having hosted the last edition in Kampala where they defeated Kenya in the final to lift the title for a record 13th time.Nairobi’s Nyayo stadium, Moi Sports Center Kasarani, Kisumu stadium, Mombasa and Machakos are some of the venues identified to host this year’s competition.
