The national side registered their second win out of three games played against Burkina in a match played at Mfandena Gymnasium. Rwanda dominated the game by beating Burkina Faso 3-0 (25-8, 25-7 and 25-14) in the game that lasted 42 minutes. Rwanda lost the first game 3-0 against Malkia Strikers of Kenya before beating 3-0 Lesotho. Rwanda will return to court on Saturday when they take on neighbours Uganda and a win for the national side will boost their chances of finishing in second place in Group B. Rwanda has six-point tally with Uganda, Morocco has eight points while Kenya leads the group with nine points after securing four wins 12 teams are taking part in the tournament including hosts Cameroon, Algeria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Egypt, Kenya, Lesotho, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria, Uganda and Rwanda.
