Right back Michel Rusheshangoga and striker Michel Ndahinduka will miss Amavubi Stars friendly match against Uganda Cranes on Saturday at Mendela national stadium in Kampala.The two are nursing minor injuries.Rusheshangoga suffered concussion in APR’s Turbo King Football League win against Musanze on Tuesday for which he had to spend a night at King Faisal Hospital Rwanda. His club and international teammate Ndahinduka broke a finger in APR’s win against Rayon Sports last Saturday.As a result, Amavubi coach Eric Nshimiyimana summoned APR right back Albert Ngabo to replace Rusheshangoga. But the former Amavubi and APR midfielder did not call up anyone to take Ndahinduka’s place.The 20-man squad and officials are set to leave for Kampala today, play on Saturday and return to Kigali on Sunday.Both the Tanzania-based Amavubi skipper Haruna Niyonzima and Belgium-based central defender Salomon Nirisarike are on the team.“We are using this match to prepare for the (regional) Cecafa Challenge Cup championships. From Kampala, we will carry on with preparations until we head to Nairobi for the tournament,” Nshimiyimana told Time Sport on Thursday.This year’s Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup is set for November 27 through December 12 in Kenya.
