Nigeria’s Afrobeats singer Davido was last night spotted having a conversation with Rwandan musician Bruce Melodie and his music producer Element at La Noche nightclub in Kigali. It was after the ‘Unavailable’ hit maker interacted with hundreds of campers at the Giants of Africa 20th anniversary ahead of his Saturday performance at the BK Arena. The New Times understands that the Rwandan singer who belongs to 1:55AM label, is chasing Davido for a collabo that would be produced by Element who is also one of the best music producers in Rwanda. “Davido is one of Bruce Melodie's favourites and working together would be a dream come true to Bruce. He is looking for all possible ways to collaborate with the Nigerian star and anything can happen,” a trusted source told The New Times. Bruce Melodie’s collabo with Davido would be the best to come out of Rwanda, following The Ben’s ‘Why’ with Diamond Platnumz, and other collabos that put Rwanda’s music industry on the map. Davido and Bruce Melodie are both on the line-up of the closing concert of Giants of Africa Festival alongside Tiwa Savage and Tyla of South Africa. The highly anticipated sold out concert will take place on Saturday August 20, at the BK Arena, where different activities of the Giants of Africa 20th anniversary have been taking place for the last few days. Before Saturday’s concert, Davido, Tiwa Savage and Tyla will attend a pre-concert party at La Noche night club. The closing concert of Giants of Africa Festival sponsored by Spotify, will be Davido’s third performance in Rwanda and the first for Tiwa Savage in the country.
