Govt mulls extension of deadline to rid country of asbestos roofing
The Government is considering moving ahead the deadline to eradicate asbestos roofing materials on public and private buildings across the country, The New Times has learned. The dangerous roofing material was scheduled to be cleared and disposed of by the end of 2016, but officials now say financial constraints have affected the plan.
