Local artisans will in three weeks time start using the online trading platform for their products, a move that is expected to boost revenues from handicraft exports.
The RSE market yesterday recorded a lower turnover compared to the previous day trading session. The total turnover for the day was Rwf 5,328,600 from 1,800 BK shares and 15,000 Bralirwa shares traded in 2 deals compared to yesterday’s trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf 7,685,500 from 35,200 BK shares and 9,500 Bralirwa shares traded in 8 deals.
Telecom giant, MTN Rwanda and the country’s leading lender, Bank of Kigali (BK), have entered into partnership to extend financial services to the unbanked population through mobile banking.
