Discovering Korean culture in Rwanda

For quite a long time, it was not easy to find a place where you could experience Korean culture in Rwanda. In fact the name of Korea, was not something that you could hear often.
However, things are different now. You would be surprised if you know how easy to experience Korean culture in Rwanda.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kigali has a Korean culture centre, with a wide range of documentations on Korea. But I think the most interesting aspect of the Centre is the movie exhibition every Friday afternoon that offers the opportunity to enjoy various kinds of K-POP music videos and movies.
Many people know Korea for its advanced technology, but what about its history, its music, and many of its amazing aspects? By coming at the Centre you will have the opportunity to learn way more about Korea.
The centre is not just a movie exhibition place, but a place where real cultural exchanges are made.
As Koreans in Rwanda had the pleasure to learn about Rwanda, and it’s many beautiful aspects, Rwandans would be glad to learn about Korea, and will find it surprising how Rwanda and Korea have so much in common.
Enjoying Korean culture can be your panacea against stress. You can enjoy music, movies in a good surrounding to blow your steam off.
The Korean culture centre is open every Friday and available for everyone wishing to visit.

This is an article about the Korean culture centre of the Republic of Korea. It's south Korea and it's located in Nyarutarama right next to a restaurant called 'Le Chateau'. They don't teach Korean language but there are many books about it. If you want to find out more information, please visit the embassy's facebook. www.facebook.com/RwandaKorea
