Editor, I wish to respond to a story that appeared in The New Times yesterday titled “Embrace vocational skills, girls told”. In the story, Eng. Diogene Mulindahabi the Principal of Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centre (IPRC) in Kigali called on female students to embrace vocational and technical studies.
Editor, Reference is made to your story in The NewTimes, May 21, under the headline “Uganda, Rwanda move to beef up border security”. The joint committee established by the two countries to analyse the security situation at Gatuna and Cyanika border posts will help stop crimes at the border points.
Editor, The story titled “Bashir says Sudan, South Sudan need peace-Mbeki’’ in The New Times, May 21, where Khartoum government promised to observe all security agreements it has signed with the South sends a positive message to the region.
Editor, Much as I respect Bahizi’s opinion regarding safe abortions, I still do not condemn the women rights’ group for expressing their concern over the controversial abortion issue.
