Uwinkindi not ready for trial
This morning, the Genocide suspect, Jean Bosco Uwinkindi, who was transferred to Rwanda from ICTR last week, asked court to give him four months to prepare for the pre-trial.
Appearing before Nyarugenge Intermediate Court, Uwinkindi said he met the lawyer (Gatera Gashabana) in court and wanted more time to discuss with him.
“I am not ready to stand pre-trial today because I don’t have a lawyer. I met Gatera Gashabana in this courtroom a while ago and I am not sure if he is the one to defend me.
