Rwanda’s mobile penetration rate increased by 3.4 per cent in December 2011, to 41.6 per cent up from 40.2 per cent in September the same year. This was revealed in the latest Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Agency’s (RURA) telecom sector performance report.
Today, the RSE market went down as today’s trading session recorded a turnover of Rwf2,428,500 from 500 BK shares and 7,400 Bralirwa shares traded in 2 deals compared to Monday’s trading session which recorded a turnover of Rwf2,912,000 from 9,100 Bralirwa shares traded in 2 deals.
Private Sector Federation says it will seek ways to attract more investors in the energy sector to sustain the current economic growth.
