EASTERN PROVINCE

NGOMA—
Proper planning will help entrepreneurs develop their business and receive funding from banks, says Fina Bank executive director Kenneth Agaba.

At a workshop on July 23 focused on educating business owners about how they can effectively run their companies, Agaba urged owners to partner with the bank in promoting business growth.

"To be recognized as a leading small and medium enterprise bank that encourages entrepreneurship with a reputation for providing a proactive and personalized service while practicing the highest standards of services is our mission,” Agaba said, adding that the bank’s strategy is to create an East African regional bank focused on the SME market.

He outlined why some small businesses fail, citing poor plans, lack of vision, lack of market knowledge, poor record keeping, and poor use of money.
