THE Secretary General of the Council for East and central African Football Associations (Cecafa), Nicholas Musonye has stated that the organisers, Football Kenya Federation are on course to host a successful Senior Challenge Cup.Musonye said on Wednesday that they are happy with the way things are getting on and are only waiting to tie up a few details before announcing the tournament sponsor(s)."We should be able to announce the title sponsors soon and have the draws next week,” said Cecafa’s long serving SG.He also revealed that they are waiting for confirmation from some member countries. "This is going to be a very interesting and action packed tournament.”The tournament, which will also have guest sides from the Cosafa region Zambia and Malawi, is scheduled to run from November 27 to December 12 in Nairobi.Meanwhile, Somalia has summoned a 29-man squad to start preparations for the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup. We shall officially start training next week for the event and we hope to put up a good show,” the national coach Mohamed Abdulle Farayare said recently.The Ocean Stars head coach will be assisted by Mohamed Abdullahi Abokar (Taako).
