The New Times has exclusively acquired architectural renderings of Zaria Court that offer a sneak peek of how the court will look like once construction works are done.
Located in Remera near the under-construction Amahoro National Stadium, Zaria Court is an urban development project with a focus on community, hospitality, sports and culture. Construction works for the multipurpose facility went underway on Monday, August 14 following a groundbreaking ceremony that was presided over by President Paul Kagame.

Zaria Court repurposes an existing property in Kigali to become a hub for social and cultural gatherings, sports enthusiasts, Africa’s booming middle class, and youth while creating dignified jobs and incubating new businesses.
The images display the court’s design, green spaces, hotel and courtyards among other facilities.

Inside, the renderings reveal well-lit units, swimming pool spaces, restaurants and parking space as well. Zaria Court Kigali’s location and smart technology integration are also evident in the images, showcasing its convenience and modern approach to urban living.
These renderings were drawn by NLÉ Designs, an architecture, design and urbanism practice based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It was founded by Kunlé Adeyemi, a Nigerian architect, urbanist and creative researcher.
