KERALA HUNTERS and Challengers cricket clubs clash in the men’s Group A as both sides seek to book a place in the semi-finals of the 2013 Zaaffran & Blueberry Hotel T20 league which continues this weekend at Kicukiro cricket oval. With both sides tied on four points, the winner between the two will have a chance of topping the group. In their last meeting during the previous tournament, Kerala Hunters beat Challengers CC by 7 wickets. Kerala captain Suveesh Kottemmal whose batting skill will be key in Sunday’s crucial match said, "We are hoping that history will repeat itself.” The combination of Challenger’s star batsman Sairam Gopalan and in-form bowler Mehbub Shaikh will however be the greatest stumbling block to Kerala’s ambitions.  The duo has consistently performed well leading Challengers to 3 trophies this year. In the women’s category, former champions Queens of Victory CC will be up against Kigali Angels CC on Saturday. Diane Bimenyimana, the 2-time woman of series will be the player to watch. Kigali Angels captain Sarah Uwera said, "Now that all players are in holidays and available, we have a chance to do well.”
