A Rwandan university student in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu died in a fatal road accident yesterday.

Didace Kalisa died when a motorcycle he was riding was knocked by a car. He was a third-year student pursuing Business Administration in the city of Coimbatore.

"We are grieved by the loss of Kalisa, we share sadness with his friends and his bereaved family," said Ernest Rwamucyo, Rwanda's High Commissioner to India. "I thank the students and Rwandan community in Coimbatore for coming together with the family of Kalisa in this bereaving period."
