Big Fariouz is among the stars to look out for at the Burundi Night Party scheduled for tomorrow, November 1, at SportsView Hotel in Remera.

The singer, born Désiré Mugani, is a Burundian artiste currently based in France. Big Fariouz will perform alongside Burundian artistes Alida Baranyizigiye and Club Abamyabanga.

The event is the third of its kind to be held in the country and it is organised by the Burundian Diaspora in Rwanda, (ADIBUR).

In an interview, Ornella Muhempundu who is in charge of communication at ADIBUR, said the event aims to showcase Burundi’s culture.

"Many of our friends and people in Rwanda don’t know much about our culture, so this event will largely showcase our traditional values and our guests will be served with Burundi traditional cuisines,” said Muhempundu.

The Burundian ambassador to Rwanda and officials from the Ministry of Sports and Culture will also grace the event that will start at 5pm till dawn.

Tickets will be sold at Rwf2,000 (ordinary section) and Rwf5,000 (VIP).
