Rwanda Cricket Association (RCA) has picked a 20-member team to start preparations for the upcoming ICC Africa U19 Girl’s Tournament scheduled for December 7-9 in Tanzania.The team which is under the tutelage of Evode Mutuyimana and Eric Ndangamyambi, will be trimmed down to 14 before departing for Tanzania."We believe early preparations are key determinants to a team’s performance,” head coach Mutuyimana told Times Sport yesterday.The girls will be looking to secure a better position from last year’s competition which was won by Uganda.In this year’s tournament, Rwanda will be up against defending champions Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and Botswana.Last year, Rwanda finished fifth after winning one game and losingfour.
