Food and commodity prices were stable over the past week, with beef unchanged at Rwf2,400 and Rwf2,300 in Kimihuraru and Nyabugogo markets, respectively, while maize flour goes for Rwf670 a kilo in Nyarugenge and Kimironko markets.  Irish potatoes cost Rwf220 in Nyabugogo, Nyimirambo, Kicukiro and Gikondo markets and rice is at Rwf700 and Rwf1,000 in Kicukiro, Remera and other major markets.Laundry soap costs Rwf600 a bar, a  litre of cooking oil is at Rwf1,500,  passion fruits cost between Rwf1,000 and Rwf1,200 in Nyarugenge, while milk goes for Rwf400 a litre.Sugar costs Rwf800 a kilogramme and bread is at between Rwf1,000 and Rwf1,600 a kilo, depending on size and type. Whole chicken goes for Rwf10,000, fish costs between Rwf2,400 and Rwf2800 a kilo in Nyarugenge and tomatoes are at Rwf1,200 a mid-sized tin. A kilogramme of beans costs Rwf600 and Rwf800 in Kimironko and Nyarugenge markets, respectively.Bananas cost Rwf210 in Remera, Gikondo and Giporoso markets, millet flour goes for Rwf1,220 per kilogramme and groundnuts cost Rwf1,200 a kilo in Kimironko market.
